In the real world I'm an Office Automation Analyst 2 for a large Hospital in the South Florida area. I'm a native Floridian, but I'm of Cuban decent. At the age of two my parents moved my sister and I to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico where we spent the next 15 years of my life. My sister, who is older than me, lives in Massachusetts and has two beautiful daughters. My nieces name are Christine and Nicole and aside from my own daughter, the two of them are a joy to be around and I love them.

Once our financial situation in this small island became unstable for us, my parents decided it was time to come back to the States. So at the age of 14 we moved back to Florida. Then at the age of 21 I married, and 18 years later me and my wife are still happily married, and have a beautifully 17 year old daughter.

While living in Puerto Rico I accidental came across a little unknown show to me called "Viajes a las Estrellas" Little did I know that this show, would have such an impact in my life. If you have not figured it out by know, that show was none other than "Star Trek" I was taken by the shows contents of good story line and character development. From that moment on, I was never the same person.

As an avid fan of all kinds of Sci-Fi, I not only enjoy watch it on TV and in movies, but I also read it on books. Ten years ago I discovered that I could also Role Play (RPG). It's my way of escaping the stress of the real world. With some friends from the Net, we founded an RPG group called Starbase Avalon, and much like Star Trek it has also changed my life.

Avalon is an E-Mail based role playing game (RPG) which has been in existence since 1995. If you enjoy writing science fiction based on the Star Trek Universe (with a bit of B5, Alien, and X-Files thrown in), this is the place for you. I invite you to submit a membership application . If accepted, your Character will be assigned to a position of your choosing, where you can join other fans in creating a tandem story line filled with action, intrigue, danger and even romance. There is no cost associated with becoming a Starbase Avalon member! All that is required is the means of sending / receiving E-Mail.
